A 55mmØ ESSIG impact mole was used to create a small tunnel for a 25mm street light electrical cable. The crossing took place underneath a path and a road, the length of the crossing was 18 meters.
This trenchless technique was chosen over open cut as the road was the entrance and exit into Tesco’s supermarket therefore the road could not be closed.
