Pilot Bore Completed in Wakefield

The pilot bore has been successfully completed to accurate line & grade on our Wakefield project. The lads have changed over the machine operation and commenced the second stage of the installation “temporary steel casings & augers” we plan to have the first 50m run of Naylor clay drainage pipe completed soon.

The mts Perforator PBA85V guided thrust boring system (pull back technique) was used to install 700m of gravity sewer in Scarborough. 180mm SDR11 black PE pipe was installed to "straight" accurate line and gradient in various drive lengths betweeen 55 to 65 metres.
