First Drive Completed at Abergavenny

Equipment was mobilised to site in Abergavenny and the first drive of two completed successfully. The project involves installing 2 x 60m drives of Naylor Denlok DN225 clay jacking pipe to accurate line and grade. We can now move the mts Perforator Machine over and setup ready to start the second drive.

The mts Perforator PBA85V guided thrust boring system (pull back technique) was used to install 700m of gravity sewer in Scarborough. 180mm SDR11 black PE pipe was installed to "straight" accurate line and gradient in various drive lengths betweeen 55 to 65 metres.
