The 3rd & 4th drives have recently been completed at Widnes. These consisted of installing 58m of 560mm and 406mm dia lost steel sleeves. We will now move onto the final two drives of the project.
The mts Perforator PBA85V guided thrust boring system (pull back technique) was used to install 700m of gravity sewer in Scarborough. 180mm SDR11 black PE pipe was installed to "straight" accurate line and gradient in various drive lengths betweeen 55 to 65 metres.
